INTERESTING UNIQUE COVERS OF 80s SONGS

COVERS OF 80s SONGS PLAYED ON STRANGE INSTRUMENTS

There are a lot of things that make noise in this world. And, some creative people use unusual things to make music. There are plenty of rare/strange instruments out there too. I've run across a few musicians who use strange noises or strange instruments to play some really, really, good covers of 80s songs. Here are some:

Don't know what this instrument is called - a harp-thingy? Whatever it is, this guy plays a killer version of Everybody wants to rule the world - TEARS FOR FEARS

Using technology is one way to make an older song sound fresh and hip. How about this take, Joe Jackson's Steppin Out put through an 8 chip Nintendo Gameboy! Now that's using technology!

Adding a violin makes this sound 'classical' - love my classical WHAM

Switching a song's genre is another interesting way to cover a song. How about WHAM again, but, this time turned "thrash metal".

There is a lot of talent out there - tons of great videos like this: Someone at their home piano/keyboard pounding out great 80s music...sometimes wearing interesting clothing.

Anything on the cello is cool - especially Survivor's Eye of the Tiger. These cello players are intense, so buckle up.
